Derek, Victoria, Harper, Jace, and their dog Yadi adopted Angus and said it’s like he’s always lived with them! He walks around like he owns the place and fit in from day one.

The family found us through a story on KCRG about a Cat of the Week. They said the process to adopt was great and they received a lot of good information about caring for a cat. They appreciated that we called references and got to know the family a little before the adoption was finalized.

Angus gets along great with the children and puts up with their snuggling. He’s playful yet lazy and they love it when he gets the “zoomies.” Their eight-year-old tri-color collie got along with Angus right from the start. Overall it was a very smooth transition and Angus is fitting in well with his new family.

When asked what she likes most about Angus Victoria said, “The thing I like most about Angus is his personality. He lets me smother him with kisses, yet will put his paw up when he’s had enough! He’s great with our kids and loves to sleep on the bed with us at night.”

We’re glad Angus is fitting in so well and is living his best life!
