Cat of the Week: Guinevere

Julia D Cat of the Week

Miss Guinevere is a BEAUTY! A sweet girl, with an even sweeter personality! Guinevere loves any and all affection that you give her. She’s a more laid-back kind of girl and loves her people! Guinevere is FIV+, this simply means a cat’s immune system may be compromised and they can be more susceptible to secondary infections. Most FIV+ cats live long, healthy, normal lives with no symptoms at all, but consistent and routine veterinary care is very important to monitor their overall health and well-being.  We do recommend that FIV+ cats reside only with other cats who have also tested positive however, this disease is only transmitted through deep penetrating bite wounds so cats that are friendly and docile may be well paired   Guinevere did previously live with another FIV+ cat, she has done well when paired with other cats both male and female. Her “best friend” was a very easygoing orange tabby cat who has since been adopted. She is about four years old.

Guinevere’s adoption fee is $85 and includes spay surgery, being up to date on vaccinations and preventives, and a microchip with free lifetime registration.
