Dog of the Week: Bandit

Julia D Dog of the Week

Bandit is a lovable 23-pound terrier mix dog who was rescued after being hit by a car. He is still in the process of healing, but is ready to start looking for his forever home!  Bandit is an energetic and playful dog who loves to run and play, but he can get nervous around some new people. His foster family has been working hard to socialize him with other dogs and people, and while he can be timid at first, he is gradually becoming more comfortable with meeting new people. It’s important for his future adopters to be aware of this and to give him the patience and understanding he needs. Bandit absolutely LOVES cuddling with people.   Because Bandit can be quite loud when first crated or left alone, an apartment is likely not the best residence for him. He does eventually settle down well and does not seem destructive when left alone or crated. He just prefers that you are around for his comfort and companionship!  Bandit has been doing well with home life and seems to be fine with other animals. He hasn’t had a lot of time to let his true personality shine due to his crate rest from his injuries, but this boy has a ton of potential and will be a great member of a patient, loving family! Bandit is about 1.5 years old.

Bandit’s adoption fee is $250 and includes neuter surgery, being up to date on vaccinations and preventives, a microchip with free lifetime registration, and a free obedience class.
