Cat of the Week: Savannah

Savanah had a rough start in life. She spent the first few years raised in a hoarding house, having multiple litters of kittens as well. She was then rescued along with her 5 four-day-old kittens. Savannah was shy and hesitant when she got to her foster home, however, she wouldn’t ever turn down a good head scratch. Her foster mom quickly found out she hadn’t ever experienced things a normal house cat had. She didn’t know what toys were and wasn’t held much. Through time and patience, Savannah has learned and experienced what it’s like to be loved. She has all the toys she can play with. A bunch of windows to sunbathe, watch leaves fall and watch birds flutter around. She has lots of cozy blankets and beds to sleep on. She enjoys being up high, not to hide, but to overlook her castle. Savannah would do best in a home with another friendly cat. She learns a lot from having a role model and gains confidence in having a companion. She loves to play with the younger cats and snuggle with the older cats in her foster home. She enjoys being loved and scratched, she isn’t one to be picked up or lay in your lap (yet). So older children would be recommended.

Savannah’s adoption fee is $85 and includes spay surgery, being up to date on vaccinations and preventives, and a microchip with free lifetime registration.
