Happy Tail: Summit (formerly Dancer)

Julia D Happy Tails

Tommi and her family were ready to add a four-legged member to their family and they turned to Last Hope. Here is their story in their own words:

Many of our Facebook friends foster and volunteer with Last Hope, so when we were ready to add a new dog to the family we started the process of finding the perfect fit.

All of the volunteers at Last Hope were fantastic to work with and made the adoption process easy to navigate.
We saw on Petfinder that there had been a litter born in the shelter to a dog named “Bobo.” We met a few of the pups and connected immediately with a bouncy little guy named “Dancer.” He and all of his littermates were the “reindeer babies.”

Dancer is now Summit Bernard and has been such a wonderful addition to our family. He is smart, attentive, and eager to please. He is full of personality and puppy antics. He is great with our 7-year-old daughter, Olivia, and loves his feline pack members (maybe a bit more than they love him). His favorite activities include chewing on sticks, letting the cats groom him, playing frisbee, and flopping over on his back for belly rubs.

We’re so glad that they had a positive experience adopting through Last Hope and that Summit has found an amazing forever home!
