Dog of the Week: Zoey

Julia D Dog of the Week

Sweet senior girl Zoey came into rescue and is ready to start living the good life! She has very limited vision and hearing, and is currently on medication to try and help a stubborn ear infection. Zoey is seeking a home that doesn’t have too many stairs and that can offer her a nice fenced-in yard for her to explore safely. She lives in a foster home with other small dogs and has done very well with them! She also is friendly with people of all ages but is not a fan of having her ears cleaned as they have long been a source of discomfort. Zoey seems to really enjoy being out in the yard during the day, she can manage a few stairs up and down with her limited vision and seems to navigate best in bright daylight.  She is as sweet as they come and will very quickly work her way into your heart! Zoey has also recently had a dental, and has had extensive vet care, including a culture on her ears to determine what bacteria is plaguing her and how best to treat it. Zoey is seeking a new owner who will spare no expense at providing her the best in vet care and grooming, after many years of going without.

Zoey’s adoption fee is $200 and includes spay surgery, being up to date on vaccinations and preventives, a microchip with free lifetime registration, and a free obedience class.

If you can give Zoey the kind of care she deserves, please complete an adoption application HERE.
