Dog of the Week: Sox

Julia D Dog of the Week

Sox joined Last Hope with the help of our friends at Critter Crusaders; this boy suffered a terrible injury and we weren’t sure he was going to make it.  But Sox has rallied and proven to be a resilient and healthy young pup! Energetic and loving, this dog will quickly become the center of attention in your home and he certainly loves to be where the action is! Sox is very smart and has picked up quickly on basic commands and potty training, he already knows “sit,” “shake,” and “down.” He is food motivated and will do almost anything for a treat so ongoing training will be especially fun with him!  He is still a young dog, so he will bite and nibble when excited so elementary-aged children or older is preferred. Sox is also calm and content when kenneled.  Sox does require a home with a fence please, he will also need to wear a harness instead of a collar around the neck as he has a history that includes a serious choking injury. He is good with dogs and cats. He’s less than one year old.

Sox’s adoption fee is $300 and includes neuter surgery, being up to date on vaccinations and preventives, a microchip with free lifetime registration, and a free obedience class.

If you think Sox might be the dog for you and you’d like to meet him, please complete an adoption application HERE.
