Sweet Miss Sassafrass! 2.5-year-old Sassy is as sweet as they come! She has wonderful house manners and is friendly with every person she meets! Sassy can be selective on dog companions, she has a fairly dominant personality which can make it hard to mesh well with other strong-willed dogs.  Sassy has done well in her foster home with a mature male dog that is around 15 pounds and has a laid-back (not in your face) kind of demeanor.  Sassy will enjoy a home with a nice yard to explore, although she does bark and run at the fence line she does wonderful on walks. We’re told that she can scale fences, although we have not seen this behavior or put her in a situation where this could occur. Sassy loves to chew on tough toys, and then cuddle up on the couch with you. She will be best suited with elementary-aged children or older, please.

Sassy’s adoption fee is $250 and includes spay surgery, being up to date on vaccinations and preventives, a microchip with free lifetime registration, and a free obedience class.
