Cat of the Week: Lacey

Julia D Cat of the Week

Hi there! I am Lacey. I’m a shy girl for now but with some love, play and a little time, I think I can be your good friend. I am shy but that’s because I was put outside away from people for… oh gee, I don’t know for how long ;(  BUT… I still had enough trust in humans to seek them out to help one of my little babies, though, when he really needed help! That is when I was rescued from outdoor life. Sadly, my baby I was trying so hard to save didn’t make it, but my other three thrived in our foster home and they all have been adopted into their forever homes and I couldn’t be happier! I sure miss them, but now it’s my turn 🙂   I am looking for a family who will understand that I am, at this time, still shy so don’t expect me to jump on your lap. I do love to play with wand toys though! I also love the squeeze treats and will lick them right off your finger. I love pets and head scratches, just please… stay away from my belly (that’s my personal space 😉  I have no problem with other cats and actually love the company.  Dogs … well,  hmm… I’m not too sure about them.   Are you the one(s) to adopt me and take me into your home and show me the love I have been searching for?  I’d sure like to meet you and see if we are meant for each other! Lacey is about five years old.

Lacey’s adoption fee is $85 and includes spay surgery, being up to date on vaccinations and preventives, and a microchip with free lifetime registration.
