Dog of the Week: Piper

Piper is loyal and very smart; she is looking for a very special home that knows Heelers or other herding breeds. Piper bonds quickly and knows many commands including sit, stay, shake and down.   She doesn’t like bicycles, or loud trucks/motorcycles, but does enjoy riding in the car. She is good with other dogs but doesn’t really play so would be best paired with a mellow companion. Piper can be protective of her people, so an adopter will need to be assertive and consistent. A  family with older children would be best because of these traits.  Piper needs an adopter that is a homeowner with a fenced yard.

Piper’s adoption fee is $250 which includes spay surgery, being up to date on vaccinations, a microchip with lifetime registration, and a free obedience class.
