Dog of the Week: Fargo

Julia D Dog of the Week

My name is Fargo, I joined Last Hope all the way from Texas this year! I’m so glad the volunteers at last hope scooped me up and brought me into their safe care, I didn’t have a very great start to my life. Although my ears look different and my body has a few scars, I have so much love to give. I don’t mind other dogs who are smaller than me, but I think people are the best and everyone keeps saying what a good boy I am! I was found to be heartworm positive, but I’ve been through treatment so now I just need a family to love me up and keep me safe with monthly heartworm preventive. Update: I have a foster home!!! Here’s what they say about me:  Fargo is a four-year-old Pitbull mix that has been fostered for a couple months. He’s an extremely mellow dog that is very affectionate and loving. He doesn’t jump or lick but will give kisses when asked. He loves to sleep under the covers at night and loves to cuddle. He is great with kids and will listen to commands such as come and sit. He loves to play fetch and rip up stuffed toys. He is the sweetest and most loving dog I’ve ever had the pleasure of fostering.

Fargo’s adoption fee is $250 which includes neuter surgery, being up to date on vaccinations, a microchip with lifetime registration, and a free obedience class.
