Dog of the Week: Penelope

Penelope is a now five-month-old puppy who joined rescue with all of her litter mates in early December when their momma required an emergency c-section. Penelope is now a playful, smart, and cuddly girl! She would do great in a home with another playful and outgoing dog; in her current foster home, she gets along famously with the grumpy nine-year-old male dog and the energetic two-year-old female dog. They will play and wrestle and snuggle all day!  She loves people of all ages, including children. Penelope is still a puppy so she enjoys chewing on items she has access to. She is 95% potty trained and the few accidents that she has had in her foster home, there were signs that she wanted to go outside.

Penelope’s adoption fee is $300 and that includes spay surgery, being up to date on vaccinations and preventives, a microchip with free lifetime registration, and a free obedience class.
