Dog of the Week: Luna

Julia D Dog of the Week

Hi! My name is Luna and my foster family says I’m the bestest good girl! I just turned 6 years old and my hobbies include laying on the couch with my foster mom to watch TV or while she’s working at home and hunting for wildlife or sunning in the backyard.  I’m a smart girl too! I’m house trained, know how to sit, shake and lay down and my foster family taught me to push a button when I want to go outside or have a treat.  I get so happy when my foster mom or dad comes home that I grab a stuffy toy and prance around the house before I take it outside. When others come to my house, I might jump on them a little too, I just want to say hi! I love to go on walks but my foster mom says I pull a lot and need some work on walking on a leash. Because I’m not great on a leash a house with a fence would be best.  I love pets and scratches but I’m a little sensitive around the mouth, so a house without young kids is probably best. I love my 12- and 17-year-old human foster brothers though.

Luna’s adoption fee is $250 and includes spay surgery, being up to date on vaccinations and preventives, a microchip with free lifetime registration, and a free obedience class.

If this great girl seems like a good fit and you’d like to meet her, please complete an adoption application HERE.
