Layka is my name giving love is my game. I came to Last Hope from Texas. I’m a very sweet curvaceous gal looking for a quiet home to live out my life. I lost an eye in TX and have no eyesight in my other eye. I love attention and my favorite thing is laying on your chest and getting belly rubs. I love to be around people and continually have butt wiggles because I’m such a happy gal. Because I was hurt by another dog I can be a little protective about my food and treats. Right now I live with 2 cats and a Shih Tzu. It took me about a week to get used to everyone and being in a new place but I settled in and we all live in harmony. I would do best in a home with older kids since I’m older and blind. I need a home that can make sure I get groomed so my long hair doesn’t get matted. I have lots of love to give and my foster family says I’m super sweet and a lover. She’s about nine years old.

Layka’s adoption fee is $200 and includes spay surgery, being up to date on vaccinations and preventives, a microchip with free lifetime registration, and a free obedience class.
