Dog of the Week: Chico

Julia D Dog of the Week

Are you looking for an older dog to keep you company and watch tv with, then I’m your guy. I’m a special needs kind of guy because I can’t see, and I have urinary issues. I do let you know when I have to potty but can’t always make it out the door. I will have to always have a belly band on so I don’t wet on the floor. I can’t see so I need to be in a home with adult and/or older children. I currently live with two cats, they don’t hang around me too much and we get along fine. I do great in the car, and on a leash. At night I like to snuggle up either under the covers or on top. I also like to bury my nose in the covers while sleeping, my foster family thinks it’s adorable. They say I’m a good boy and well behaved. I do have some anxiety but that comes with my breed (miniature pinscher). My medication helps me out. I cry/whimper when I’m hungry or need to go potty. I recently had a dental and had a lot of teeth removed. My mouth feels better and my breath is better, but I will need to be on soft food.

Chico’s adoption fee is $200 and includes neuter surgery, being up to date on vaccinations and preventives, a microchip with free lifetime registration, and a free obedience class.
