Cats of the Week: Pawnee and Mohave

Julia D Cat of the Week

Pawnee and Mohave had a rough start to life but are now doing great as a bonded pair.

Pawnee is a buff and white male who is a little over a year old now (as of Feb. 2023) and Mohave is a totally handsome buff boy – about 2 years old (Feb. 2023) – who actually likes belly rubs, turns over to get his belly scratched, and loves to have his back scratched!   And take a look at their gorgeous copper-colored eyes – SO COOL!!  Mohave also meows, loves to rub your legs, and they both purr now, too!   They were both out at Petsmart for a while and they have become accustomed to all types of dogs, noises, and people coming and going which happens regularly around there! They have also interacted with the daily LHAR volunteers who clean the cages in the AC, too.  Pawnee doesn’t meow much, and his greeting is more than likely a little hiss – but who knows – maybe that’s his way of saying HELLO!  They get along great together and they love to snuggle together in the cat tree beds; it is so sweet to see them enjoying life!   They also were able to watch CAT TV shows running all the time in their foster home – so they are easily entertained that way, too! We want these two to be adopted together.

The adoption fee for both cats is $145 and includes neuter surgery, being up to date on vaccinations and preventives, and microchips with free lifetime registration.

If you think you would like to give this special pair a wonderful home and would like to meet them, please complete an adoption application HERE.
