Cat of the Week: Sedona

Julia D Cat of the Week

Sedona is a young Brown Torbie looking for a forever home that will keep working with her to come out of her shell! Just like the hidden red undercoat she has a hidden personality waiting to pop out. She is a bit shy and can easily be startled but has the full potential to build comfort and learn she is safe with the right person or family. She is not one to get up on stuff yet at this time but has learned how to get up on the bed for some treats. She is still building trust and doesn’t like to be picked up or held right now but she has been known to cuddle on her foster mom’s lap and even next to her in bed in the middle of the night. When she wants some loving she will let you know as she does a big stretch and loves to slide her back leg out along the floor. Her favorite love to get is a good scratching under her chin till she melts to the floor. She can be a little picky about her other cat friends – she’s done well with some but has let us know she doesn’t like some others. So a proper, slow introduction would be necessary. She has not been around dogs or smaller children yet. Sedona is about three years old.

Sedona’s adoption fee is $85 and includes spay surgery, being up to date on vaccinations and preventives, and a microchip with free lifetime registration.
