Dog of the Week: Kami

Kami was found as an outdoor dog in the Ozarks area. It took some time to gain her trust but she now understands how great life is with people and other dogs.  Kami still needs help with growing her confidence and experiencing new social settings, she will thrive as part of a pack in a multi-dog home (this is a must for her, and she is best suited to living with other large dogs given her size). Kami is not a fan of car rides and she does need a physical fence at least 4 feet tall. She is still learning manners, including not jumping or counter surfing! Someone patient and experienced with very timid dogs will gain lots of love from Kami as she is very affectionate with her people.  Kami’s breed mix is just a guess at this point, she is beautiful and friendly with very large paws and wonderfully silky ears. Kami is about three years old.

Her adoption fee is $250 and includes spay surgery, being up to date on vaccinations and preventives, a microchip with free lifetime registration, and a free obedience class.
