Volunteers of the Month: Dave and Becky Moser
Dave and Becky Moser were online looking for rescues in the CR/IC area when they found Last Hope in 2014. They have been involved with the organization ever since.
They started out by fostering puppies and provided a temporary home for about 25 of them over time. As time went on, they adopted a few of their own dogs and it became difficult to bring fosters into the pack dynamic. Now they focus in other areas like performing home visits for adoptions and helping out at fundraising events.
When asked why they like volunteering for Last Hope they said, “Volunteering at Last Hope has been rewarding in so many ways. It feels great to be part of the process by which dogs get the good homes that they deserve, and we’ve also met a ton of new friends through this work.”
There are many ways to help out at Last Hope and often our volunteers change their areas of focus based on events in their own lives. Becky and Dave helped so many dogs find their forever homes when they were able to foster and now they are contributing in different ways. We are lucky to have them as volunteers for their dedication!
