Volunteer of the Month: Kacie Herzberg
Kacie has been volunteering for Last Hope for about two years and she got involved because she had friends who volunteered for Last Hope. She has done dog care shifts, transported dogs to doggy daycare, collected food and monetary donations, walked in parades, and helped out a lot with Barks & Brew for two years. She has also helped a friend deliver beds to the Adoption Center from time to time. In addition to everything else she does, she would also like to foster dogs at some point.
Kacie says, “I love volunteering for Last Hope because I have seen many animals get adopted or get second chances through this organization, and it makes me happy to know that cleaning kennels or dropping off a bag of dog food — such simple gestures, can make a big difference. I am lucky to be in touch with some families who have adopted from Last Hope and I love hearing about their progress and knowing they got that chance because someone decided they were worth saving!”
Thank you, Kacie, for all you do! The dogs also appreciate the loving care you bring to them.
