Dog of the Week: Lime

Julia D Dog of the Week

My name is Lime aka Zoom, a name given to me by my foster mom and dad since I like to do zoomies and am fast. I am a 1 1/2-year-old lab mix.  Lime is a beautiful, young, smart curious girl who loves her chew toys and Nylabones to help keep her busy and redirect her attention away from things she should not chew on. Lime should be either fed in her kennel or fed away from other animals as she is a little protective over her food and seems to eat better when given time to eat by herself. Lime loves having all the attention and also enjoys having a playmate to play with. Lime has adjusted well over time and gets along with the other two senior dogs in the home. Lime is crate-trained and newly potty-trained. Lime is a high-energy young girl who would do best with a fenced-in yard, dog parks, and walks. Lime also has a calm side to her that loves to curl up with a person or in her kennel and take a nap.  Lime is still working on walking with a leash. Lime is a quiet girl and only barks when she needs to go potty or gets excited. Lime does not live with cats right now so we’re unsure how she reacts when around them.

Lime’s adoption fee is $250 and includes spay surgery, being up to date on vaccinations and preventives, a microchip with free lifetime registration, and a free obedience class.
