Dog of the Week: Koa

Meet Koa, the adoptable one-year-old pocket bully from Texas who is ready to steal your heart! Koa is a unique blend of bulldog legs and a pittie body and head which makes her a certified ‘pittopotamus.’ Weighing in at about 45 pounds, she’s the perfect size for snuggles and playtime. Koa might be a bit timid in new situations, but she always puts on her brave face and faces the world with courage. She’s playful and loves her toys, enjoying gentle play sessions that often include a fun game with your hand. After a few zoomie laps around the yard, Koa is ready for a well-deserved rest. House-trained and accident-free since joining her foster home, Koa knows how to sit and is working on mastering other commands.

Due to her true Texas roots, she loves to sit outside and soak up the sun, making her the perfect companion for someone who loves to relax outdoors. When it comes to walks, Koa prefers short, sweet strolls and likes to lead the way, deciding when it’s time to head home. Her playful spirit and love for snuggles make her an all-around good girl who is sure to bring joy to her forever family. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion with a heart as big as Texas, Koa is the one for you.

Koa’s adoption fee is $300 and includes spay surgery, being up to date on vaccinations and preventives, a microchip with free lifetime registration, and a free obedience class.
