Dog of the Week: Eloise

Julia D Dog of the Week

Eloise is a calm, laid-back puppy who would be happy to watch movies on the couch with you once her zoomies are done, but she may decide that your toes are more entertaining.  She is a sweet, independent, slightly shy puppy. She can be a bit cautious about new things and take some time to evaluate a situation before she decides how to proceed, but she gets there eventually. Eloise is most likely a lab/black mouth cur mix and will probably be a medium to large adult. She is very young and learning about appropriate chewing and house training right now. She loves to be around people and is very respectful with our older, slightly cranky dogs. She might benefit from having another dog in the house that helps her be brave, but she would probably be fine on her own with someone that is patient and lets her take things at her own pace. Eloise likes the crate and we are working on house training with a dog door. She is treat-motivated and positive reinforcement goes a long way with her. She is very sweet and is looking for someone that will be sweet to her! She is just a couple of months old.

Eloise’s adoption fee is $300 and includes spay surgery, being up to date on vaccinations and preventives, a microchip with free lifetime registration, and a free obedience class.
