Colonel is a large dog (70 pounds plus!) with a lot of love to give! He is friendly and kind with people and has done especially well meeting new people and making friends.  He can be dog selective and seems to be most comfortable with female dogs near his size. Colonel is not a fit in a home with small animals, including cats or chickens as he does have a prey drive.  Colonel is seeking a home with a nice big yard for him to enjoy and someone who is very active and will get him out on walks as this is one of his favorite things to do! He also seems comfortable with all people, but has never been around very small children so is best suited for a home with kids 6+ years old at this time. Colonel does need an experienced dog owner who will provide him guidance and training, he does respond well to verbal commands/cues. He is a little over two years old.

Colonel’s adoption fee is $250 and includes neuter surgery, being up to date on vaccinations and preventives, a microchip with free lifetime registration, and a free obedience class.
