Dog of the Week: Chappell

Chappell is a one-of-a-kind girl hoping to land her happily ever after. This young girl joined us from Cedar Rapids Animal Control as a neglect case. She was battling mange and needed some extra TLC – but with good care and lots of love, she’s now healthy, glowing, and ready to take on the world! Chappell has that classic puppy spirit: playful, wiggly, and always looking for fun. She is dog-friendly and eager to make canine friends who can keep up with her energy. She has not been around smaller dogs or cats yet, so she would prefer a home without them. Chappell is still working on learning the basics, but she’s smart and will thrive with a family that is patient and consistent. Now, she can be a little mouthy when it comes to treats and playtime, so a home with no small children would be best until she can polish her manners. If you’re looking for a joyful, goofy, and loyal pup who’s already proven she’s a survivor, Chappell is ready to bring her big heart and puppy energy into your life! She’s about one year old.

Chappell’s adoption fee is $250 and includes spay surgery, being up to date on vaccinations and preventives, a microchip with free lifetime registration, and a free obedience class.
