Dog of the Week: Bebee (Penelope)

Julia D Dog of the Week

My name is Bebee, but I don’t really respond to that so my foster family calls me Penelope…I like that name much better!! I have been a *rockstar* in my time in a foster home. When I first moved in I was soo nervous about things like the other dogs, and strangers and just change in general. I would act out by eating things I shouldn’t have (like soft toys and blankets).  I have worked very hard on my confidence and with my foster family’s help, I have come SO far!! I have learned to love going for walks and being part of a home and a family. I would like a home with a fence please, and I am gentle and sweet when it comes to meeting kids, but maybe elementary-age children or older would be the best for me.  An owner who has dog experience is preferred so that you can help me continue to be a confident dog and work on some basic commands as I learn our new routine together.  I’d love a dog companion that is easy-going and playful, but please make sure that everyone in the home is okay going without soft toys (these could be given with supervision only, just to ensure that Penelope doesn’t chew/eat something she shouldn’t have). She is about three years old.

Bebee’s adoption fee is $250 and includes spay surgery, being up to date on vaccinations and preventives, a microchip with free lifetime registration, and a free obedience class.
