Cats of the Week: Bahama Mama and Bermuda

Julia D Cat of the Week

Bahama Mama came into Last Hope with a litter of kittens. They’ve all been adopted except Bahama Mama and Bermuda. We’d love to see them go to a home together, but it’s not required.

Bahama Mama is rather shy, but she loves it when you pet her and she will snuggle on your lap once she gets used to you and her new home.  What happened to her after she had her kittens would frighten any kitty, and she had six new kittens to take care of as well as herself!  She purrs up a storm and gets along with other kitties.  She does like toys and particularly enjoys watching out the windows!

Bermuda is her daughter and she was the shyest of all the kittens but she’s doing great now and loves to snuggle with all of them and a couple of other kitties in the foster home, so we think she’ll probably get along with other kitties in a new home if properly introduced.  She is very sweet and with love, care and tenderness, she should be great with any family, too!  She likes toys and feather wands, and still has plenty of ‘kitten’ antics to entertain you with, too!

Bahama Mama is about two years old and Bermuda is about one. Bahama Mama’s adoption fee is $85 and Bermuda’s is $100 but there is a discount if you adopt both of them. The adoption fee includes spay surgery, being up to date on vaccinations, and a microchip.
