Cat of the Week: Furrguson

Meet Furrguson, a handsome, laid-back gentleman who’s about 3 years old and full of love to give. This friendly guy is the definition of chill – he’s easygoing, gentle, and happiest when he’s soaking up affection. If you’re looking for a loyal lap cat who will gladly keep you company during quiet evenings, Furrguson is your guy. Furrguson is both FeLV and FIV positive, which means he will need to be the only cat in your home. Cats with these viruses may experience a shorter lifespan than other cats, but can still live happy, loving lives. He would benefit greatly from regular vet care, a well-balanced diet, and a safe indoor environment away from stress. In return, he will give you all his companionship, loyalty, and sweetness. Furrguson came into rescue with what our vet believes is a healed front leg injury that may have been a broken bone at some point. But don’t worry, this doesn’t affect him. He gets around just fine and doesn’t let it slow him down. He is simply a mellow soul with a gentle spirit, ready to curl up next to you or settle into your lap for pets and attention.

Furrguson’s adoption fee is $85 and includes neuter surgery, being up to date on vaccinations, and a microchip with free lifetime registration.
