Dog of the Week: Lydia

Meet Lydia! This gentle sweetheart is looking for a loving forever home where she can share her cuddles and quiet companionship. Lydia is friendly, though she tends to be a bit shy around men at first, but give her time and her affectionate nature will shine through. We aren’t exactly sure what Lydia’s breed mix is; she’s a terrier of sorts and weighs around 40 pounds. Her age is estimated to be around 6 years old. She’s lived with both cats and dogs, and even teens, and gets along well with all of them! Lydia is crate-trained but can also be trusted to roam the house freely. Whether she’s curled up at your feet or following you quietly from room to room, her calm, loving presence is sure to steal your heart. If you’re looking for a soft soul to snuggle with and share your days, Lydia may be the perfect match. Please note that Lydia has recently completed heartworm treatment so she will require monthly heartworm preventive that is given year-round.

Lydia’s adoption fee is $250 and includes spay surgery, being up to date on vaccinations and preventives, a microchip with free lifetime registration, and a free obedience class.
If this medium-sized sweetie seems like she’d be a good fit for you, please complete an adoption application HERE.
