Dog of the Week: Chips

Chips had a RUFF start before coming into rescue! Estimated to be around 5-6 months old now, she is a healthy and happy young pup ready to find her own family! Chips, who is white with black markings, is sweet and just a touch shy! She loves people but can be a little lacking in confidence in new surroundings.  Chips definitely enjoys the company of other dogs; her ideal home will have another medium to large dog that can be both her playmate and her role model for being brave. Chips has also met young cats and didn’t seem overly interested in them. Included in the adoption fee for Chips is a free basic training course at Cedar Run Company in Hiawatha. She has already been introduced to basic cues like sit and down and responded very quickly in just the first few minutes, including an intro to clicker training. This girl is smart and eager to please, we can’t wait to introduce her to you!

Chips’ adoption fee is $300 and includes spay surgery, being up to date on vaccinations and preventives, a microchip with free lifetime registration, and a free obedience class.
