Dog of the Week: Wiley

Wiley is a fun-loving energetic 6-7 month-old husky shepherd mix that came from the local animal shelter that was overflowing and reached out to the rescue for help. While we don’t know his back story we are having a hard time figuring out why anyone would give him up; just look at those ears! He loves to play with other dogs and loves to be around his people, too. Wiley is currently in a foster home with two other dogs and would likely do best with a dog sibling who loves to play as much as he does. He loves to chew on chew toys and loves his food. Wiley knows sit and is working on sitting and waiting for his dinner but he just can’t resist sometimes! Wiley is kennel and potty trained. He does well with other playful dogs and has done well around children but he has not been introduced to cats. Wiley does well on a leash with a harness and would probably love going on runs to get out some of that puppy energy.

Wiley’s adoption fee is $300 and includes neuter surgery, being up to date on vaccinations and preventives, a microchip with free lifetime registration, and a free obedience class.

If you think Wiley’s ears are just the bee’s knees and would like to meet him, please complete an adoption application HERE.
