Dog of the Week: Chase

Chase is one smart puppy! He’s also one BIG puppy, at just around 9-10 months old Chase is a good-sized dog and he may grow just a little still.  He also has a terrific puppy personality especially when it’s time to play with toys. Chase loves to chase balls and have lots of great chew toys to flop around! Although he is a large dog, Chase does well on a leash and doesn’t pull too hard.  He has learned to run with his foster dad and does very well at this, that puppy energy means he can run and run even after you’re ready for a cool down! With those long athletic legs, Chase will love a yard to run around in and will be safest with a taller fence (over 4 feet tall).

Chase has done dog daycare and does alright with supervised introductions to other dogs; he is best paired with friendly dogs that are around his size.  He has not been introduced to any cats yet.  Chase currently lives in a foster home with older children (10+ years old), he is well suited to live with an experienced dog family that enjoys a dog that likes the company of his people.  Chase wants to be with you and be in on the action and we’re sure that you’ll love his big goofy smile. Only one thing we need to warn you about….Chase is pretty sure he was born to be a lap dog!

Chase’s adoption fee is $300 and includes neuter surgery, being up to date on vaccinations and preventives, a microchip with free lifetime registration, and a free obedience class.
