Volunteer of the Month: Molly Tutt
Molly Tutt has been volunteering only since July 2018 but she hit the ground running and does a lot of tasks for us. She had attended some Cat Adoption Open Houses and thought she would like to help out with the kitties.
Molly does cat care which involves cleaning up after and feeding the cats at the shelter but she also trains new volunteers, takes cats to vet appointments, transfers cats to and from PetSmart in Coralville, helps with events, performs home visits, and helps with adoptions. She pitches in wherever we need help!
When asked why she likes volunteering at Last Hope Molly said, “I love all the kitty kisses, snuggles, and purrs! I like volunteering at Last Hope because seeing the cats and even dogs get their forever homes is worth the time spent.” She also loves to see updates on how the cats and dogs are doing in their forever homes.
We can depend on Molly to help out with many different tasks and are glad she has joined the Last Hope family!
