Volunteer of the Month: Eric Halter

Eric adopted from Last Hope for the first time in February of 2022. He had a good experience and wanted to get involved so he began volunteering in June of 2022. He hasn’t been here long but has proven to be dependable and a great asset for our pets!

Eric walks dogs, takes them on car rides when they’re on restricted activity, and also helps at fundraisers and events.

When asked why he likes volunteering at Last Hope he says, “I love the interaction with the dogs, feeling like I’m giving back, and it’s great exercise!” He also says that after walking dogs he leaves in a better mood than when he arrived.

We’re glad Eric decided to join us and know we can depend on him!
