Cat of the Week: Booth
Hello there! My name is Booth. I was found by some apartment buildings in Cedar Rapids and a kind human brought me to Last Hope to give me the best chance at life. Shortly after arriving at Last Hope, I had femoral head ostectomy surgery. Sounds scary, doesn’t it? It’s really not, I don’t understand exactly what happened, I just know that now I can live a pain-free life! These days you would never know I had any type of surgery done, I’m a typical kitten, bouncing around my foster home.
During my recovery, I came to a local Waterloo office to be fostered by a group of fun ladies and my buddy, Jerry, aka Skit Skit. My foster moms were pretty impressed because Jerry typically doesn’t like fosters, he’s kind of grumpy with them, however, he really liked me. After I was all better, my foster mom brought me home where I am currently fostered with two large dogs, a small dog, two other foster kittens (Raj & Sheldon), a couple of resident cats, and a lot of teenage boys. Only four teenage boys actually live in the house, but boy, do they have a LOT of people over. What would my foster family say about me? Well….they would say I’m adventurous, snuggly, and friendly. They would say I like to play, I love canned wet food, dogs don’t scare me, and I like to snuggle both my humans and fellow cats. I’m an easy-going, laid-back guy just looking for a home to hang out in. Some people believe that black cats are unlucky (umm….excuse me), but I seem to be one lucky dude. I was caught by a kind and caring human that turned me over to a great rescue so I could get the surgery I needed to live a long and happy life. If that’s not luck, I guess I don’t know what luck is!
Booth’s adoption fee is $100 and includes neuter surgery, being up to date on vaccinations and preventives, and a microchip with free lifetime registration.
Booth is a great guy and if you’d like to meet him, please complete an adoption application HERE.
