Volunteer of the Month: Bergen Dalton

Before joining Last Hope, Bergen took in a cat and litter of kittens. She got in contact with a Last Hope volunteer and arranged it so that the cats were taken into our care with Bergen as the foster. That was October of 2019 and Bergen has been an asset ever since.

She is primarily a foster parent and has fostered six cats and three dogs. In addition, she also helps by assisting when animals are vaccinated, moving supplies at the Adoption Center, and do some clean-up there.

“I like volunteering/fostering for Last Hope because everyone has been so friendly and helpful. It is obvious that the animals are truly cared about and their best interest is always in mind. I also like that as a foster parent I am able to play such a large role in finding the perfect home for my fosters!”

Bergen says volunteering at Last Hope has been a great experience and she recommends volunteering and adopting from Last Hope.

Fosters are the heart of Last Hope and we’re very thankful that Bergen joined us! Thank you for all your hard work and dedication.
