Cat of the Week: Bandit

Julia D Cat of the Week

Bandit

Hi, my name is Bandit. I am a ten-year-old chocolate Siamese. The first ten years of my life I lived in a home with a situation of neglect and abuse. Critter Crusaders and Last Hope saved me and my brother Bear, a Sheltie. My foster Mom says she is touched by how deeply I love humans despite how I grew up. Thanks to Critter Crusaders I have gotten strong and healthy. The doctors believe I am blind and probably have been all my life due to a congenital condition. I just lost my last tooth, but I haven’t let it bother me at all. I eat wet food, but I really love my dry food and still eat it too. There are three things I enjoy most: Snuggling, playing, and lounging on blankets. Whenever you are near I will come and lay my head close to you. I love having the back of my neck scratched. A piece of string is my favorite toy. My foster Mom argues my blindness because of how well I can follow strings. I can always find the coziest blanket in a room. I have lived with a dog before. I currently live with other cats that are older as well as a kitten. I also live with a young child in my foster home. She is gentle with me and feeds me so I don’t mind her at all. Sometimes I play a little too rough with the other cats because I am still learning how to play, but I am learning and want to get along with everyone. I don’t have any teeth or front claws so I can’t hurt anybody. I hope to find a forever home with humans that will give me blankets to lay on and lots of hugs and kisses.
